Our Services

At Starflower we recognize that the first years of your child’s life is full of both joy and plenty of challenge, and we are here to meet you where you are both at in this moment.

We design group play for children that provides opportunities for adults to observe, reflect and learn about their child, as their child develops skill in all domains, especially in relation to playing around and with other children their age.

We’re also here to support you directly as you grapple with the questions and challenges that come from raising a child that is continously growing and evolving.

Playgroups

Weekly, age-specific playgroups bring families together for 60-minute play sessions that include free play, sensory activities and circle time. Parents and caregivers share in the joy of observing their children interact with one another and materials, and learn new ways of supporting them as they begin to interact with the world around them. Playgroups take place in a clean and comfortable setting in Dixon, California.

Pop-Up Playgroups are also available for a group of families that are already connected and seeking to add structure, coaching, and/or activities designed by a specialist in family education to their playdates. Pop Up Playgroups are hosted in families’ homes and include a sensory activity and a circle time. Cost depends on frequency of playdates and number of participating families. Hosting family/families receive(s) a discount on enrollment. Parents or caregivers of all children participate. Available in Davis, Dixon, Vacaville, Woodland, and Winters, CA.
